(Winnipeg Summer Skating School reserves the right to place skaters on appropriate sessions.)

NEW: A third free skate session is available if space permits to Senior and Intermed. bookings at extra cost. StarSkate is available in both one free skate session and two free skate session options AND 4 Off-Ice Classes per week. Beginners all inclusive program “Skate First” available, See separate brochure and application form.

Senior Competitive

Juvenile and higher competitive skaters OR landing axel and two doubles.
Limit 22 skaters

Senior Dance

Session for Senior level dancers and teams.
(Extra Cost)

Intermediate Competitive

Pre-Juvenile competitive skaters and any StarSkate and Test Skaters who are landing axel and 1 double. Dance is not included in this package.
Limit 24 skaters

Intermediate Dance Only

For skaters at Intermediate level of dance. (Extra cost)

StarSkate

All future competitive and all test level skaters including current CanSkate and Future Stars (transition skaters). Group Lessons available.
Limit 28 skaters

Special Beginners Program

"Skate First"
We offer an opportunity for you to get your son/daughter to learn to skate in an intense program with lots of personal attention. Skaters will be taught in a semi- private lesson with a Professional Instructor (one to three skaters per instructor).

   *Starting Dates: July 4^th, July 11^th, July 18^th, Aug. 1^st, Aug. 8^th.

   *Minimum Booking: Two Weeks (may add weeks to 1^st four dates)

   *One Fee: Includes Ice Cost and Instruction

*DAYS: Monday. Wednesday, Thursday

*Time of day: 5:00PM to 5:45PM (30 Mins Instruction, 15 Mins Practice time.

   * Equipment: Figure (preferred) or Hockey skates, helmet, neat fitting warm clothes – not heavy.

   * FEE: $ 125.00 for two weeks. Extra weeks, $65.00 per week

Off-Ice Schedule

(Mon.to Thurs) Senior Competitive:10:15AM to 11:00AM

Interm Competitive: 11:20AM to 12:05PM; StarSkate: 1:45PM to 2:30PM (Mon to Thurs)

Other Features

Tests

Skate Canada tests will be held on July 29th and again on

August 18^th(if needed), & August 19^th. (Note: no compensation for missed sessions)

Ken Langlois, dance partner from Toronto available both test days and 2 days before.

Diamond dances will be tested on August 19^th only.

Guest Coaches

The W.S.S.S. keeps the program exciting by offering the services of guest coaches whenever possible. Christopher Mabee will be available on July 20 & 21/11.

Seminar

Seminar sponsored by Skate Winnipeg will be held on Friday, July 22nd featuring Christopher Mabee. For more information, contact www.skatewinnipeg.ca

Harness System

Harness assist for jumps is available for use with your coach.

Competition

The Prairie Skate Competition will be be held Aug. 5,6,7 in Brandon, MB.

Billeting

If billeting is required please call the Winnipeg Summer Skating School at (204)256-3452 or (204)284-7801. We try to accommodate all requests.

Bookings and Payment

Applications will be processed in the order received. Booking for 7 weeks, the first 4 weeks, and the last 3 weeks will have first choice on ice available. All applications considered. Details on application form.
Casual Ice Bookings cannot be used as a substitute for the regular categories of sessions above.
