Senior Competitive
Pre-Novice to Senior Competitive skaters OR landing axel and two doubles.
Limit 22 skaters


Senior Dance
Session for Senior level dancers and teams.
(Extra Cost)


Intermediate Competitive
Pre-Juvenile to Pre-Novice Open skaters and Gold test skaters OR landing axel and one double. Dance is not included in this package.
Limit 24 skaters
 
 


Intermediate Dance Only
For skaters at Intermediate level of dance. (Extra cost)


StarSkate
All future competitive and all test level skaters including current CanSkate and JuniorStars (transition skaters). Group Lessons available.
Limit 28 skaters


Off-Ice Schedule
Senior Competitive: 10:15AM to 11:00AM (Mon. to Thurs.)
Intermediate Competitive: 11:20AM to 12:05 (Mon. to Thurs.)
Starskate: 1:45PM  (Mon. and Wed only)


Weight and Strength Training
There will be access to a fully equipped weight and strength training room. This will be offered only to skaters with proper weight training programs. The weight and strength training room is located on the lower room of the Dakota Community Centre. A nominal fee is applicable; Please contact Karen Landers at (204)895-4346.


Other Features

Tests
Skate Canada tests will be held on on July 25th and again on August 14th (if needed) and 15th. (Note: No compensation for missed sessions)

 

Guest Coaches
WSSS keeps the program exciting by offering the services of guest coaches whenever possible. Elizabeth Manley will be available for lessons for a couple of days before her seminar, which starts July 18th.  Contact your coach.

 

Seminar
A Seminar sponsored by Skate Winnipeg will be held July 18th & 19th featuring Elizabeth Manley, Olympic Silver Medalist for Canada.


Competition
The Prairie Competition will be held on August 8th, 9th, and 10th, in Saskatchewan.

 

Billeting
If billeting is required please call the Winnipeg Summer Skating School at (204)256-3452 or (204)284-7801. We try to accommodate all requests.

 

Bookings and Payment
Applications will be processed in the order received. Booking for 7 weeks, the first 4 weeks, and the last 3 weeks will have first choice on ice available. All applications considered. Details on application form.

Casual Ice Bookings cannot be used as a substitute for the regular categories of sessions above.
